qRD Declines to Assist Savary Owners Address Critical Herchmer Road Upgrade Needs

Access to the southwest Medivac site will continue to be a problem for the foreseeable future. The qRD considered the project at their fall Strategic Planning session but decided not to take on a road upgrade project, even though it has been made clear that this is a public safety issue that affects the residents on the entire west half of Savary. That means that it won’t be done at all because MOTI will not fix it as this portion of Herchmer is not classified as a maintained road on Savary. They are aware that the steep hill at the south end of Herchmer is again failing. Hopefully the hill holds up through the winter as it is the only access to that Medivac site.
